Themes are what give your site its look an feel. The elements of a theme include:
- navigation and header graphics
- font sizes, styles, and color
- page alignment
- orientation (vertical or horizontal)
You can select a theme for your site by
- clicking the Choose Theme link on the Maintenance page
- clicking the Choose Theme link at the top of any page on your Preview site
On the Choose Theme page, select the theme you like best.
Click the button when you have decided what theme and color variation you like best.
Note: each them has its own Style Sheet, which defines many of the font and color choices. However, when you change your theme, your browser may cache, or save, the style sheet from the previous theme. To make sure your browser is using the most up to date style sheet, hold your Ctrl key and click your browser's Refresh button the first time you view a preview page with the new theme.
No matter which theme you choose, you can use the Nav Layout page to change the way it arranges your logo and navigation buttons. For example, you can change any theme from a horizontal to a vertical layout. Also, you can select exactly where to put your logo relative to the navigation buttons. we provide a link to the Nav Layout page on the maintenance page, and below the navigation links on your preview site.
Keep in mind that some themes are designed with specific layouts in mind, and won't look good with evey layout option.
You can always change your theme later. Just return to the Choose Theme Page at any point and select a different theme. Note: You must republish before your new theme takes effect on your live site.
